The Profectus blend is a cheery light roast with a clean, but robust flavor. It is both light enough for the early crowd, while presenting a full and bold flavor for those that prefer a strong brew.

Where did that name come from?

The name Profectus is the Latin word for “Growth”, “Increase”, or “Maturity” which makes it a perfectly fitting title as we mark the completion of our first year as a full-time commercial coffee roaster in our new location in west Mankato.

It represents the positive change in our company as we expand our footprint, staff, roasting & blending skill, and overall capacity from a company of humble beginnings, to one of established success. As our first blend DeNovo was a “New beginning”, so Profectus is the fruit of that beginning and marks a new era. May it be a sturdy bridge to future things (Futura Sunt).
